Co-stars Hugh Jackman And Taron Egerton Are Teaming Up To Sing On The Soundtrack For Their Movie Eddie The Eagle.
The 26-year-old Brit, who rose to fame in 2014 action movie Kingsman: The Secret Service, will join Jackman on the track, which is set to appear in the film’s closing credits.
Producer Matthew Vaughn tells Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper, “Even though he can clearly sing, Taron had to be persuaded… Hugh had to be persuaded to sing, too.”
Director Dexter Fletcher is also trying to get the actors back in the studio to record a music video ahead of the film’s release in April, 2016.
The song was co-written and produced by Take That star Gary Barlow.
Jackman plays Edwards’ mentor Chuck Berghorn in the movie.
